The German waste management plant AVA Abfallverwertung Augsburg GmbH is among the most modern waste plants in Europe. AVA GmbH is responsible for collecting, sorting, and disposing the waste of more than one million citizens of the Augsburg region. Depending on the type of waste, it gets either burned, composted or recycled.
